held at the Union League

Women In Law Enforcement

Women in Law Enforcement were invited to a luncheon by the American Bible Society. Pictured were some Chaplains from Trenton, NJ as well as Philadelphia. Chaplains Luis Centeno and Ray Vega from The SCU were also invited.

Welcome Aboard to our newest member of the SCU

During the May 13th Meeting, Rev/Chaplain Eric Carr was appointed our newest member in the Special Chaplaincy Unit. Chaplain Luis Centeno, the Units president, ceremonially pinned Chaplain Eric's new SCU pin on his collar.
Chaplain Eric is currently the Chaplain President of the 18th district.

The 2018 Police Recognition Dinner was a GREAT success!

Congratulations!!

At a Graduation Dinner, SCU Chaplain Ray Vega was presented with high honors and Class Valedictorian by Dr. Juan Manuel Vernanchet, a Nobel Prize winner. He was chosen to give the commencement speech at the graduation ceremony. Ray completed The International Chaplaincy Course with the CELA , headquartered at the University In Miami Florida which is recognized by The United Nations. "Thank you to all my mentors at the SCU," said Ray!
